A friend of mine recently endured her second profound, betrayal-laced breakup. When comparing and contrasting the circumstances of both, she found herself better equipped to deal with the challenges this time around.
What struck her most was a sense of inheritance- how her prior self left provisions for her current challenges and thus, how her current self is investing in her very own tomorrow.
It is a beautiful idea.
